]]></description><guid>http://blog.rdsadvantage.com/archive-last-years-data1</guid></item><item><title>Remote Deposit Banking</title><link>http://blog.rdsadvantage.com/remote-deposit-banking</link><pubDate>Wed, 10 Jun 2009 19:47:49 GMT</pubDate><dc:creator>Art MacHugh</dc:creator><description><![CDATA[<p><span style="color: #993300;"><strong>Remote Deposit Banking:</strong></span>   <span style="color: #333333;">Version 9.14.11 includes the ability to enter contribution and receivables checks in RDS Accounting and send the check deposit to your bank electronically.  This is a very new technology and all banks have not yet begun to support this feature.  Many banks will provide a check imager for you to scan checks and send for deposit, but you must still do the accounting data entry.  This RDS Advantage feature combines data entry and depositing in one process.  These new imagers are available from RDS Advantage.  Ask your bank if they support "Remote Deposit Capture." Inform RDS of the ANSI standard used by your bank.
